I have just spent a week touring in Scotland and here are some pictures. We did 1700 trouble free miles without using the wipers once, and did 20 miles per gallon.
The first picture is taken on Struie Hill, looking north over Sutherland.
The second shows Dornoch Cathedral, which dates from the 13th century.
The last two are in the Cairngorms heading towards Aberdeen. The posts at the side of the road are markers for when it snows !
Thanks Barry

What a great looking car you have - and in such magnificent countryside. I have been up to Sutherland many times on Golf pilgrimages to Dornoch and laterly Skibo & Brora - the roads up there are probably just like they were when these cars were sold new. I have a '69 Coupe which is in the process of being stripped down presently, not having been used for 12 years or so. Hoping that I'll be able to take it on trips like that next Spring - which obviously means Summer / Autumn!!!

Hello Mr Parker. I have admired your Rover for many years, but have never had a chance to speak to you at the various events I have attended where you also came along with SPN 20. I last saw your car at Wimpole Hall in the summer, unfortunately I again didn't get chance to have a word with you. Congratulations on continuing to keep SPN 20 in such magnificent condition. I am interested to know where you obtained the wing mirrors fitted to SPN 20, as I have never seen them on another car and think they are very good. Do you know if they are still obtainable ?
Michael Morris.

Hi Michael, Sorry to be so long in replying but I have just had a couple of weeks in Scotland again, this time on my bike. I bought the mirrors when I first had the car in 1975 ! I have seen them at the Beaulieu Autojumble. They are actually door mirrors, but look fine on the wings. They are Zanetti/Wingard. You could also keep an eye on ebay. Good luck !
George
