For those with access to the new digital TV channels, check out the schedule for Sunday 30 October. I quote from the BBC4 web site: Sun 30 Oct, 21:05-21:45 40mins Stereo Widescreen Rover, the Long Goodbye: Time ShiftDuring its heyday, the Rover brand stood for prestige in the motoring world, and the company with a string of successful models was envied by manufacturers around the globe. But the last two decades has seen a gradual slump, culminating in the sale of the firm by BMW for a nominal £10, and then the closure of Longbridge as a mass manufacturing site. Motoring nostalgists will delight in re-living classic cars such as the P5 and the P6 of the 1950s and 1960s respectively, before the British Leyland era and joint ventures with other firms. Contributors remembering the classics and the clangers include Quentin Willson, Zog Zeigler, Jonathan Glancey and Stephen Bayley. Narrated by Geoffrey Palmer.

Regional rep Dave Bull contributed to this programme as it was made in Bristol. Look out for his P5B coupe

I've had a digital TV for nearly two years now, but unfortunately we'll be the last in the country to get a digital signal.

No cable then - we've had DTV since 2001 not much more on it though!

No thank goodness, I don't fancy my drive being dug up and left in a mess.

Well there is that - we had it at our old house and they ran two inches below the soil in a flower border and tunnelled underneath the concrete path round the house wall so n mess was actually caused.
In our present house the front was all up anyway so it was just laid on top of the hardcore before the blocking was done.
It avoids the need for roof aerials which blow down and in our area its a very poor signal and has been cabled since the late 1950's - Redifusion as it was called then
