If I find a Tescos' selling 99 grade fuel I will try it. However I would still put the additive in to boost the octane rating higher. Shell Optimax is 98, and where I live there is still a garage selling 98 leaded fuel. So I'm spoilt for choice.

I know its not really relevent, but I use it in my Triumph Herald (not quite what it seems) which runs a 10 to 1 compression ratio, and I find I can advance the ignition timing without pinking much more than "super" unleaded.
Dont use it in the Rover, because at the moment it has no engine in it ........ and isnt likely to have in the near future. Usual problem, no time, no money !

Looking at the website covering my area, the nearest would be a fifty mile round trip to get it. That equates to almost three gallons so I'll have to carry on as normal until the one in Dorchester decides to stock it.
