WHAT HAS HAPPENED THE CALIPER IS STICKING AND OVERHEATING THE BRAKES THE REASON FOR BRAKE FADE IS YOU HAVE OVERHEATED THE BRAKE FLUID SO YOU WILL NEED TO BLEED THEM.NOW THEY HAVE COOLED DOWN ALL SEEMS OK AGAIN BUT YOU NEED TO LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM TO STOP IT HAPPENING AGAIN

I agree with this diagnosis. The situation is similar to brake fade going down mountain passes.
Sort out BOTH caliipers - the one that's sticking AND the opposite side to ensure both in working order and balanced - and bleed the brakes using new fluid. You can use a higher performance fluid eg DOT5 instead of DOT4 which has a higher boiling temperature.

The other thing it might be is the flexible hoses to the calipers. Whilst you are investigating and have to bleed the system anyway, change them - they're cheap.

I agree with all the comments
I too have had this problem in the past on various P5's and whilst cleaning up the calipers has provised a short term solution I have ended up reconditioning them properly.
These cars cars are heavy and single circuit - do not take chances with safety
Try Serach on both old (if still on) and this site for more info

You should also check the rear cylinders, as these are far more likely to stick than the front, but with those massive springs inside the drums you can get away with it for longer. After a run put your hand on each wheel in turn they should be warm, not hot. Also , if the car is garaged, try pushing it on a level floor. If it will not move either the brakes are stuck or you need to get to the gym !!! While you are at it remember the servo and master cylinder, as you do not want to keep bleeding them.
