"Ask and Ye Shall Receive" thanks Smallfry I hope to hear the sound of the old girls V8 burble by next weekend! first time in 26 years it should be good no exhaust!! on that subject can any on recommend a "none arm and a legg" supplier of a SS system with the correct tail pipes?

I have always used Goughs but they are not cheap - use Search as others have had success with other makes

try www.quicksilverexhausts.com/ .A SS system will generally be noisier than a mild steal one. The main culprits are the two Y down pipes from the manifold.Wrapping them with exhaust fiberglass cloth improves a lot.
