Hi all,
Thanks for your help so far, its getting very exciting - two weeks away from roadworthiness (fingers crossed!).
I need to get a new set of gaskets for the exhaust manifold and downpipe for the V8 as its blowing a wee bit. Are these fairly standard parts (I guess this engine is used in a fair few places)? Any ideas where I can pick a new gasket set up from?
Many thanks,
Tom

There are no gaskets fitted to the down-pipe its matter of realignment and if necessary exhaust paste at a push.
There should be no gaskets at the manifold either but later V8's had them - they are esaily obtained from Land-Rover dealers and the usual specialists
