I am in the process of replacing the track rod end boots and the top and bottom ball joint boots; I have been very successful up till now. One of the bottom ball joints will not let go, it has been under tension from the torsion bar for about three days now, its had lots of wd, hits with a hammer and even a bit of heat, but still nothing. Could anyone help with this, thanks Dean.

Have you been hitting it properly short sharp taps with a large ball-pein (rounded end) hammer preferably with another heavy hammer like a lump hammer heldfon the other side. This method is the most successful if done properly. This has never failed with me - eventually!
Be very careful with heat as it can melt the nylon liners inside the ball joint which are not obtainable.
If you can obtain a large enough ball joint separator (I have never found one) this with hammer blows should shift it
