I picked up the supply from the transmission tunnel using the supply to the gear selector illuniation. This was a deliverate decision so that the lights only come on when the sidelights are on and therefore don't get left on and drain the battery. However it means they can be used without the ignition on if required. I have put LED bulbs in all of the door lights and the headrest lights because they give a whiter light and use much less current so doen't matter if I leave the door open for a while.

Yes that is the shape I thought all P6's were that type perhaps they were used as and when Well, I've seen very few of them in cars or photos so don't think they could have been in production very long. I nearly got one from ebay recently but the seller turned out to be a wrong 'un & I lost my money.

Only £15 so not too bad. Annoying thing was, it was a second chance offer as I lost the original auction. He fleeced quite a few people around the same time & ebay are supposed to be looking into it though they won't tell you what they're doing. Got a mail from someone else who lost money & got the police sent to the vendors place. Funny as most (not all) of his feedback up to then was positive.
