Can you help, please ? My dip switch has thrown a 'wobbly' and, will not work all the time ! I have bought a new (revised version) from LSUK and, although there are 3 conections on the new, as on the old, they are not set out the same ! LSUK have told me which 2 are for the switch and, the other is for the fascia display (Blue light) but, I am not able to trace these on the wiring diagram in the 'Manual'. The original switch is marked as follows :- LH contact=1 RH contact=2 Mid contact, not numbered. Which two, then, are for the switch and, I guess the last will be the fascia display ! 'Fetling' this car is proving to be bigger than anticipated but, I am learning a lot ! Kind regards, John A.

Hi John it is a changeover switch you have a center feed and one contact is main and the other is dipped as long as you get the center one correct ie the one with 12v on it. The Blue and Black is the feed to the Dipped Beam left/right the Blue and Brown Main Beam left/right the the Blue one goes to the headlight switch 12v feed .

It will not do any harm to cooenct the three terminals up wrong anyway just try the combination which gives the right effect!
Its logical the centre one will be the main feed ie BLUE cable

Hi Phil yes you are correct on looking at my "BIG" wiring diagram Blue is the main feed from the headlight switch and feeds the center of the changeover switch! as you say you can do no damage if you get it wrong

Thanks for your input guys; a result - right first time ! All three wires basically, are Blue but as only one was all Blue, that went on to one of the switch terminals and, with the aid of a brighter light, made out that one of the others had a Red-ish trace, so put that on the other switch terminal. Only one place left for the last ! Now we can dip at will and, have a Blue light on the dash'. Thanks again - I'll see if I can find something else for you now ! Kind Regards, John A.
