Why are you swapping from Lumenition back to standard points / unreliable condenser setup? I have just fitted Lumenition to my 3 litre because of points / unreliable condensers!!

vince you have a problem you can't fit the drive gear from a P5b and you have the ballast resistor, amplifier missing I think? the later dizzy's have the module bolted on the side but none can be converted to fit the standard P5b oil pump, unless you fit the SD1 timing cover/oil pump

I think you'll find you can fit the P5B drive gear to the SD1 distributor, if you want to do it the other way around you have to remove a section of the tang on the distributor to get the gear to fit. Why you would ever want to fit an SD1 distributor and ignition system I wouldn't know, most of them , early ones in particular were cr*p.

The problem is with the shaft on the SD1 harvey it is too short because of this there is no tang If you have a lathe and a miller it could be done or I should say I could knock up an adapter
