Both my heater and wipers seem to have stopped working. Neither is making any sound and there is no ammeter movement when I switch either on. All the fuses seem to be OK. I see these two components are co-located in the engine bay so wondering if there is some bit of wiring or something else they share. I have checked an earthing point near the wiper motor and it seems to be OK.

Check fuse 19-20, and 21-22. The wiper motor and the heater motor are linked with both the above fuses. Both are fed through 19-20 first from the ignition switch and then 21-22 to the heater motor. Best to check out the cct diagram first and then use a multimeter set to 20v to see if and where the supply stops.
