Well, after many months of fettling, i finally decided to take the P5B to work this morning, all the way from sunny Worthing to North Oxford, ran like a dream. My favorite part was watching the fuel gauge not moving...ahh the joys of LPG I shall be mooching around Oxford in the old girl for a couple of days before heading back to Worthing on thursday evening, anyone local to the Oxford area? John
I have no pictures, but can take some if you like. The install was done by a previous owner when the car lived in Holland. It is a slightly old fashiond install, and uses a simple mixer plate between the air filter and Holley carb. The tank lives in the boot, not sure what size, but it does hit the carrying capacity a bit, but it also means the petrol tank is still in place, so effectivley doubling my range...which is nice. My favorite part of the install is the LPG filler, which is hidden under the rear number plate...very subtle. Are you going to the National on the 27th? if so you can have a look, as I will be there.
