For the last couple of years I have organized an event on National Drive it day and this year I propose a run starting with tea & bacon butties at Rockingham classics in Great Oxenden just off Junction 2 of the A14 (http://www.rcands.co.uk/ , to the Bubblecar museum near Ancaster Lincs and ending at a suitable hostelry where those who wish to can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat.
The run will pass through some of the nicest countryside of 4 counties including Northants, Leicestershire, Rutland and Lincolnshire.
The road run will be in the region of 60 miles and will be a “suggested route”. I will supply written directions so it would be great to bring a co-driver or two.
The run is open to all classics not just Rovers.
As last year there will be a small registration fee of £5.00 per car , a proportion of which will be donated to the Sporting Bears Motor Club (http://www.sportingbears.org.uk/ )
Please let me know by reply e-mail if you would like to join us and I will send a registration form. Email P5rover@hotmail.com
Looking forward to seeing you all on the day and don’t worry as I’ve booked really warm and sunny weather! J
Regards
