Colourwise the middle example would be the nearest to have been used with Buckskin. The one on the left, Beige, although it looks nice is a no no.

Our original carpet with the Buckskin is between the Beige & Fawn I would say. At the technical day Geoff Moorshead said that he'd not seen original carpets in such good condition as ours, which was nice.

The brown is nowhere near and the other 2 are about equal in closeness

I am not sure what colour to go for now, i still like the beige, which is the colour of the pockets on the doors, but if you look down inside them you can see that they were once a brown colour of some sort, mind you i am not one of those owners who wants the original air in his tyres

Like Phil is saying it's a cross between the two the chances of you seeing the correct colour in a car will be a tough one due to the sun, damp and age even if they are in good condition the colour will have changed unless the car has been in the dark all it's life and not used what I did on mine was remove the carpet binding and that will give you a good idea of what it was take up the rear seat and find a piece of Moquet that has been out the sun but don't expect Coverdale or whoever to have the full colour pallet plus the adhesive on the door pockets do funy things to the colour over time.

I have not seen any replacement carpets in Mortlake Brown - there are several nicer colours as the Rover colour was a particularly strange colour. The Silver Grey alternative used with Black and the maroon seats generally is much easier to match - Rover's version howevers ages to a lighter version of their Mortlake brown
