Morning All, Thought I'd better introduce myself! - I have just bought a 1972 Admiralty blue P5B Saloon, its in lovely original condition, but I'll have to do a few bits and bobs here and there; so look out for lots of questions!! To keep the taxman happy - I need to find evidence of the original selling price of a 1972 saloon. I also have a mk1 Jensen Interceptor and I purchased a book full of period roadtests - all the roadtests had the original list prices - the book was published by brooklands I think - Does such a thing exist for the Rover? If not has anyone got a late 60's/early 70's road test or advert with the prices included that they could photocopy for me? Many Thanks, Steve.

According to a Motorists Guide I have its list price in 1972 was £2738 extras like HRS, Inertia belts and radio must be added.
So unless the car is exceptional its well below the £15k current market value

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the reply. Is there anyway you could photocopy / scan the relevant page of your guide - I will need backup of the price to work out the BIK tax I will have to pay.
Thanks..,
Steve.

Please Note - Brooklands did a book of road tests - i have one but none after 1967 were included. Its still a good book and occasionally turns up as book sales etc
