Located near Gloucester.
Popping along on Saturday. I wanted to see Ayrton Sennas F1 Ltous and was also hoping to see a Bugatti Veyron and maybe hear it travelling up the hill.
Well it will appear there will not be one Veyron there, but at least SIX (6) ;D including their works car:
Here is the press release:
A fabulous display of French automobiles, with French Car Clubs and cars competing on the famous Hill, with a varied programme of timed racing, demonstration runs and spectacular calvalcade runs.
PRESCOTT LATEST NEWS: Did we say just 2 Veyron on site...whilst that may have been a 'Car de Deux' (forgive us) we now have a complete flock on our hands. numbers are running a 6 possibly 7!
The 'works' Veyron will again be demonstrated seriously on the hill, and alongside [by kind co-operation of Beaulieu National Motor Museum] will be John Bolster's 'chubby Mary' returning for the first time since 1964 and just to add spice, Ayrton Senna's Renault engined 1986 F1 car in which he won four Grand Prix.
Renault Heritage have just confirmed that Renault H&C Classic Team driver Michel Leclère will be competing at La Vie en Bleu on Sunday 25th May. After winning the French Formula 3 championship, driving for Alpine, in 1972, Leclère performed well in Formula 2. This earned him his chance in Formula One and he competed in eight Grands Prix from 1975-1976. Michel is currently part of the Renault H&C Classic Team and continues to demonstrate and race some of the historic Renault Formula One & Le Mans cars at various events around Europe. These include the Alpine A443 which competed at Le Mans in 1978. read, more click here
In the paddock will be our special display area of historic cars depicting the very best in french design from 1900 to the present day.
