Went to the Lincs rally last Sunday at the Aviation centre Spilsby, 15 Miles north of boston, its a great rally and a great venue, done 244 miles round trip, then on monday i just travelled 16 miles before i neede reserve, so thats 260 miles on 12.5 gallons, that is 20.8 mpg, cost about £70-oo, so i put in £32 quids worth this morning, was it worth it, yes i think it was as it is such a good rally.

Very nice pics. The cars seem to blend nicely in with the aircraft. The 2 tone green P5 saloon looks very smart, I don't recognise it.

Its Peter Harrisons 1960 Mk1 manual - been in the family since new and on James Taylor's P5 Complete Story book's cover. He is not a P5OC member (RSR) We have gone there most years but this went to Ashover a large autojumble car show run by one of the Austin clubs. We went in our P2 and there were no P5's at all and only one 1 P4 Its a very good place to visit with it running but not flying Lancaster and WW2 ops base/museum. The show is an annual event run by the Lincs P4 club but there a loads of other makes too.
