With the banger racing we don't steal cars or we get banned from racing. I can understand why people dont like banger racing but having had been brought up on it i am a nut. We have only had one person accusing another racer for stealing cars and he wasnt found guilty so happily we dont nick cars. We only have 2 pre 70's that P5's can be raced in and even then not many are raced. the rest of the year is a bit different we have about 50 raced tops.

Its like being back on Scoobynet!! Keyboard warriors to the fore and all that. I do think 'the' post should be edited/moderated to remove at least one word from appearing in its entirety not knowing the ages etc of those who may look through the site, but maybe i'm old fashioned.

Brum911 has been banned. I can of course implement a swearcheck system, but it will by default also include a few words that are normal everyday language. 'Cockpit' for example. I was hoping the friendly and sociable atmosphere you have all created would permeate to everyone, but obviously not. It is a shame we get a few that try and spoil if for the rest and apologies for not spotting this one earlier, but thanks to a member who sent me an email' nod'

I would not bother with the swear check system. What you have done is the correct thing. I make a point of not posting if I have had too many glasses of wine!! I think this site is spot on with the contributions we get and too be honest we don't get too much aggro, if at all. I just feel sorry for people who have to resort to a low level of contribution and Pricey had done nothing wrong with the point he raised. Very strange response indeed. ;D Anyway, onward and upward.

Nice one Glenn, I like the exhaust pipe at the top. No more tarnished rear bumpers etc.

It may just be the perspective of the photograph, but looking at the front 3/4 shot, the gap between the front & rear doors seems to taper toward the top. Could indicate that the body has sagged during sill replacement, or that the doors are out of alignment. (Or may just be my monitor!)
Incidentally, I certainly wasn't suggesting that the owner was a banned driver, or has no insurance or M.O.T. I was just trying to explain why it's necessary to have a current tax disc even when tax exempt.
