hello, spent today refitting parts of the interior, 1970 coupe, most of the handles and winders went on just fine, but 2 of the interior door handles won't go back because the bar which the handle fits over is at a 45 degree angle to the head behind the grove which the spring clip fits into. the other one is at a lesser angle but still neither will allow the handle to fit on far enough to fix.
are the heads screwed in or something have tried to move them with two spanners but no chance. thing that gets me is that they came of there so i cant work out what the hell is going on.
