Hi Phil
It was not only the Rover P5 forum that suffered. The situation has been resolved. Here is a report from Proboards:
Forum Redirecting Issue
Some members have reported an issues when attempting to read threads or click on boards. When attempting to do so it redirects them back to the homepage of the forum.
At this time we know the problem is exclusive to Internet Explorer browsers.

Could this be the problem I have with my 2nd laptop where I get redirected back to the log-in page, even though I'm logged in?

The forum is now viewable by Guests (they had to register before, which may have put some people off) but they still need to register to post.

This brings it into line with other 'Forums' where 'guests' can view all the topics but not contribute unless they register.
