A number of P4 owners in east Central Scotland organised a road run on 12 October as a season finale; starting from Tillicoutry it had a lunch stop at Creiff and ended at Loch Leven. Whilst the majority of cars on the run were P4s, some variety was added by my P5B, an Armstrong Siddley, a Wolsely 1500, a couple of Land Rovers and a Crossley. The Crossley did a sterling job keeping up a reasonable road speed despite many steep hills and muddy roads, remarkable considering it has brakes only on the rear wheels. A nice run in good weather to round off the summer.
