Hi,
I spotted an admiralty blue/ silver birch p5b coupe today accross the street from the Paisley sheriff court. I think the reg was DAU **K.
Does anyone know the car? it did look in good condition.

I suspect the car in question was /is DUA 114 K, which was owned by Mervyn Dickinson. It's new owner is Mr Robert Livingstone, who has recently joined the club. To avoid conjecture, Mr Livingstone is a member of the legal community, so the appearance of the car outside the courthouse was strictly professional! Robert is looking for a reliable garage in the Glasgow area to work on his P5B, so if any of you know of such, let me know.

That explains why it was parked accross the street and along a bit, you would have expected the owner to have been at the doctors surgery it was outside of.
It was quite unusual to see one out so close to my house that I don't know.
As for a Garage, tough one as everyone I know does their own work. I think jamie Gibbon of Gibbon and Wilson would be the man. His father owned a Rover dealer and Jamie worked there. His firm is a jaguar and Autobox specialist but he works on other cars. He has just reconditioned my BW35 for a very reasonable price.

Jamie has also been recommended by other P5B owners so he should be worth a try.

I doubt that there is another buisness with the same knowledge and service in Scotland.
He has a great knowledge of Rovers. Also owns a p6 so must be a good guy.
