If your unable to D.I.Y. why not look up your local I.C.E installer. You need to decide if you want a modern unit hidden away or a period looking unit on show. I have my c.d player hidden behind the centre pull down door. Then of course there is the issue of speakers............cutting the door cards/parcel shelf etc etc.

I think the neatest solution is to make inset/flush speaker pods in the wasted A panel space twixt inner/outer wing.
The A panel Furtex and hardboard is likely to require renewal anyway so no need to butcher the more complicated door/prcel shelf. Make sure its sealed though as water passes up/down this space!
