Recently I fitted a self-adhesive plastic chrome strip. It might sit a little too low doesnt it? But considering that the sills still need better welding one day they are ok for now. Mark

Actually if it had been fitted at the proper height it would have looked quite authentic - the sills are supposed to be satin black below it though.
This is another topic on which there is aealth of information and pictures tomsee

Not bad, but Phil and yourself are quite right. The sill trim is far too low. If you want I can send you the info sheet that I enclose when I sell the s/s sill trims. Please feel free to P.M me.

I think you mean the coachline eisdielenbiker? yes it's a little low should be the same height as the top of the 3500 badge I can see why you didn't paint the sills yet eisdielenbiker something less glossy and black may hide a few things untill you get the welder out, at least you found enough metal to fix the trims somwhere well done the car is looking good

Thanks for the input and ideas. I don't worry about the coachlines but about the sill trim position. I hope that Glenn would give some more information in a PM. Satin black paint is a good and easy starting point next spring. The sill is just patch welded below the rear door.
