I doubt you will get a sill already painted as once removed from a car they will be of no use. You can buy replacement sills (inner, spacer, outer) from JR Wadhams. They are basically (in my opinion) the best you can buy. You could then have it painted in satin black once it has been fitted.. You should find references to this using the search facility. See www.roverp5bduchess.co.uk You may find it of use too.

yep, they look good but I live in south London and wondered if there's anywhere closer to home who could help??
Also the post that the driver door hangs off of is in need of repair. It's not rusty, I think it's just dented in a bit where the bottom hinge joins. Subsequently, the driver's door is sagging a little, which someone has tried to improve by putting wadding behind the bottom hinge where it joins the post.
Anyway... will this need sorting out before I fit a new sill?? that's what I'm getting at.
Thanks

I cannot really comment unless I can see the vehicle. I am a bit confused why the "A" would be dented. There is a step in where the door hinges fit to the "A" post but that is manufactured. Door sagging is usually associated with the "A" post rotting at or below the lower hinge but as I said I cannot comment unless I can see it. Wadhams do deliver parts by the way. Have you been on his web site? You could try Roverpart of London 020 8657 9086 (Gordon Stacey) or contact him at ROVERPARTS@AOL.COM but I am not sure he stocks replacement panels. To have a good look you may have to remove the front wing but you would have to do that anyway to fit the new sill. I advise you remove the wing and assess what needs to be done.
