I know it still needs a lot of tidying and work to be like the majority of your cars but it is all in good working order and in daily use. Does anyone know any history of the car? [/img] [/img] [/img]

It does look good - the diesel engine does fit nicely.

Hi As you can see by the pic's there is no change to the gear shift, or any of the interior, but I do need a shift off a Mk.3 if anyone as one? David Green as not got one! I'm going to David's tomorrow to collect a 3.54 diff, and yes I will be going in my Rover! this should be a good trial for her, a trip of around 300 miles.

The chrome has certainly gone on it! I suppose you will need the Mk3 shift with PRDNL - are you uisng with the wrong labels so N is actually reverse? with L neutral. Confusing for theives.
Not 100% sure but it is just the indicator and gate that is different - the lever is the same. There are 2 sorts Mk2 and and Mk 3 anyway

Hi I need a Mk3 shift indicator and gate that reads PRDNL can anyone help? Had a good trip to collect a diff and a few other bits from David Green's (good man to deal with) the car ran fine and returned around 35 mpg.

Hi Mark You must have satnav in Germany! I use the satnav as my speedo so I don't go over the speed limit!! The original will be recalibrate when the gearing is sorted.

I have found your rover it's parked on someone's driveway near Newcastle upon Tyne. It's not in the best of health by the look of it. Needs a rear boot panel passenger side ( behind rear door). I live 100 yards away. Just moved here. I know it still needs a lot of tidying and work to be like the majority of your cars but it is all in good working order and in daily use.
