I noticed in the December issue (excellent as always) that there's a technical day scheduled. It got me thinking, what I need is some really basic advice on servicing.
I freely admit, there are guys in the club who make me feel totally inadequate in terms of mechanical knowledge. I mean, I know where the spark plugs are and could probably get them out, but as I'm about to take delivery of a beautiful refurbed P5B Coupe, I wouldn't mind knowing a bit more about the essentials of keeping her in trim condition.
Maybe the magazine could have a "Back to basics" column where the more knowledgeable members could contribute advice on the real nuts and bolts stuff like oil changes, what fluids to put in where, tyre pressures, changing air filters etc
Just a thought.

That's a good idea (Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy) Any chance David D that it could be done?

Ohh, of course it can be done. It's just a matter of putting the info into a readable format along with pics. Could even run to a couple of issue as a centre pull out. But, and as the female judge said on 'Strictly Come dancing' on Satiurday... 'I have a big but.. ' Any volunteers? Many thanks for the comment on the 'improved' magazine. I changed printers - more colour pages, better quality, guaranteed delivery dates - all for the same price
