Took Babs from Salisbury to Henley on Thames yesterday ... our first proper run. Impeccable road manners and that great sound up front. Had a guy with a 5-series BMW offer me his car park ticket then turn and add, "Nice car, by the way"!
Really glad I had Halogens and a rear fog lamp fitted as the weather was, frankly, pants.
Possibly my favourite detail on these cars? The little red prisms on the side lights to tell you your lights are on!
Wonderful drive home through the Wiltshire countryside on the A30 Roman Road - into the sunset with mist lying across the land.
Ooh - I've come over all poetic!

Congratulations Andy, this is part of the magic of owning one of these cars. Lets hope the local council up here in Derbyshire don't lay too much salted grit this winter 'cos its great to get the Rover out on a sunny winters day. Merry Christmas one and all. Freddy
