The Footman James 30th Bristol Classic Car Show will now take place on the May Day Bank Holiday: Saturday 2nd May - Monday 4th May. The new dates mean that the show will run over three days, and anyone with prepaid tickets should hold onto them. We have decided to make them valid for any of the new dates, irrespective of the day they were originally booked for. All the original show exhibits and features will be at the new event, and we hope to include a few more surprises. The only thing that will put people off Kev is the weather as its supposed to get a large dumping of snow overnight and tomorrow. Whoever goes will need to take plenty of warm clothing with them as I know from experience. Unfortunately I won't be there due my ongoing health problems.

Offset your disappointment at the loss of this show by taking a few minutes to look at these pictures: uk.autoblog.com/photos/2009-grand-national-roadster-show-3/1321455How many of you built Revell / AMT kits of cars such as The Munsters Coach and some of the other classic customs seen here? Even if you are not into the Rod & Custom scene, look at the standard of preparation and display.

WOW....The standard of those cars is frightening.I would love to own something like a hot rod but i could not spend the time polishing the thing.I have enough trouble keeping the Coupe looking presentable. Nice pic's thanks for posting em.

FROM JOHN STACEY.
To all, The Shepton Mallet show was postoned form Feb 6th/7th to May bank holiday and will be a 3 day event. Help is sought at 2 levels. One is manning over the period and the second is for additional stand design and materials ideas.
I confess to haveing got into a bit of a rut over the years and have used the excellant foldaway unit and the 2 pull up side stands every time. These items are well desigened and easy to put up. I shall therefore use them again. BUT this being the 50th year of the P5 does anyone have any additional backdrops, posters or other items I could use to add to what must be a very familiar stand for most visitors. All ideas welcome!
Manning it for 3 days is more than I can do single handed, any volunteers PLEASE. Regards John Stacey albert.stacey@yahoo.co.uk
