Hi All this is my first post on this forum, hopefully some can help. I changed the alternator on my P5B coupe yesterday evening (but forgot to disconnect the battery first!!!) now 3 of the 4 gauges under the dash don't work. The ammeter works fine and would indicate to me that the $tr is unaffected. The three remaining gauges seem to go through a regulator 10volt according to the wiring diagram. Is this likely to be the problem? Where is it located? Where can I purchase another one if I've damaged the existing one? Thanks for your help AWG.

Welcome to the forum awg. Can't help you, but the level of assistance on this forum is exceptional so I am sure someone will come along soon with helpful info.
Simple question - I apologise, but have you checked the fuses?
Good luck

Welcome to the forum AWG There are only two guages fed from the 10v the Fuel and the Water Temp the oil pressure is fed from 12v. If your washerer and indicators are working they are fed from the 12v that feeds the 10v regulator (15 amp fuse 3-4) so I would find the 10v regulator first which is "normally" found under the dash on the drivers side on the rail and it must be earthed as this is the -ve feed to the unit. Eliminate this first then you may have a seperate problem on the sender/guage on the oil side Good Luck
