Had a stroll around the show yesterday. Lots to see with some stunning cars and plenty of autojumble.
A photo is attached in black & white - in colour, the lighting there turns everything orange!

Nice shots there....I know what you mean about photography at the NEC though, the Silver Birch Coupe on the Rover Sports Reg stand looks yellowy green in my feeble attempts which I took yesterday. Just tried uploading one on here but no joy for some reason.
Very good show anyway, nice people, nice cars and a good atmosphere.

Glad you enjoyed it and many thanks to all those P5 enthusiasts from the UK, Europe and the USA, who took the time to visit us on the stand. From the feedback we received it seems the love of these Rovers continues!

Oh I spent quite a bit of time drooling over the cars on the P5OC stand! Also VERY taken with the slightly modified P5B Coupe on the Rover Sports Register stand next door... A very enjoyable show all round Nidge

Thanks Admin, Glenn and Phil Nice cars to start with, I just point and shoot! The Silver Birch Coupe has a Vittese engine and gearbox apparently.....anyway, I found the interior highly intoxicating, the smell was bang on

The Silver Birch Coupe has a Vittese engine and gearbox apparently..... Was it a manual then? IIRC auto wasn't available on the Vitesse, not on the TP anyway.

Sorry Harvey, I may have got it wrong about the gearbox, definitely a Vitesse engine though. Thinking about it the gear lever / gate looked standard so it must have been from something else, but the blurb in the windscreen mentioned a non standard gearbox of some sort. I keep coming back to the various photos of members cars on the forum and thinking 'I've got to have another P5 soon'....its driving me round the twist to be blunt! Nidge

Go for it,once you join you'll never leave! (Bit like Royston Vasey) ;D Well I was a member 02man, but let my membership lapse when I sold my Coupe.... Got my eye on a pair of Silver Birch over Admiralty Blue Coupes at the moment though....I'm just trying to find the time to go and view them, not easy when you work unsociable hours - I missed out on two lovely examples earlier this year because of work! Thanks Peter Yes, almost tehre. The sill trims had holes in them (if you look closely you can see the silver tape covering the holes) and will need replacing. A set of Glenns special sill trims are required methinks!

Fabulous shots of a very beautiful car! Makes me think of a certain Mr. Pelham.... I've tried tweaking the colour pics I took of it but alas they're nowhere near as good as those. Nidge
