Don't worry Thou we all know Warwick refuses to let USA have more P5/P5B's than OZ. He'll put you up finally but you'll see a couple of previously undiscovered OZ barn finds going up at the same time!
Sorry Warwick we love your work and understand your chauvinism but hey don't mess with OH!

Ooops. Sorry. Don't know how that happened. I thought I had. I must have been distracted after putting the link in my last reply.

Hi. I'm a rookie here. I have a Rover p5b. In concord, California. My (late) father had it imported from Australia around 2000. Unfortunately my brother forgot about it in a leaky garage for 2 years. I have taken possession of it now and have brought it back to life again. I'm no car savvy. And could use some help.

Thanks. I've added you to the list.
Any photos? Where did the car come from? Do you have any of its history?

Gday all. I have a 1964 P5 coupe 3L. we have quite a few down here in West Oz. Its currently under restoration and isnt to far from the road again. I also have a 1976 P6b which has just dropped rings in 2 cylinders so am not happy! I have a mate who has an early 3L 1959 4spd with o/drive which is also under going a full restoration. He is in Capel West OZ.

In our club West Australia Rover Owners Club, I would guess that the P5s outnumber the P4s

Hi all i recently purchased a 1970 P5B Coupe , true colour unknown as it has been hand painted some time in it's past in green, when i pulled up the carpet it looks like Grey. Can any one help me with colour combination eg Body, Roof, Carpet Trim.

Hi Russ, Welcome to the forum. If it's dark grey, it's probably Burnt Grey. There is a paler grey, but others will need to answer that. You're more likely to get a response to a specific question like that in P5B Body section of the forum. (Click on the following link) roverp5.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=interior31

Hi Stephen, I've added you to the list on page 1 of the thread. If you give us as much information as you can, there will be someone here who can probably even tell you the colour of the paint on the seat springs.

Hello all from Canada,
My name is Mike, I've recently been bitten by the old car bug after playing with all sorts of newer (import) and 4x4 (Jeeps & Toyotas) vehicles for the past 15 years. I've been looking to get into something older for street use, and saw an article on the Rover P5 Coupes in Road & Track a few months ago. Lo and behold, there seems to be a few hidden around my home province of Nova Scotia.
I'm still looking for my project, trying to find the best base (read: least rusty), and I've already found a '70 vintage 3.5L to start rebuilding.
Anyway, looking forward to getting input from Rover owners in the motherland.
Cheers!
