This Sunday 24 January. A mornings stroll around Bristols Historic Floating Harbour Meeting at 10.30 near the Nova Scotia pub - free parking opposite. Postcode for sat navs: BS1 6XL Visit this thread for full details: gwsforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=placestogothingstodo&action=display&thread=636Hope to see you there. You can join us at any point during the morning, or if you wish just for the walk. We will pass many local attractions including the SS Great Britain, Matthew (the ship not the person) which is a replica of John Cabots ship, some tall ships, steam powered ships, early steamed power industrial crane, Victorian dry docks, railway units, Suspension Bridge, Avon Gorge, plus many other points of interest. Not forgetting the odd ship of course! A meal is planned at the Grain Barge and it would help to get an idea of numbers (all those who have previously confirmed need not re-apply). The weather forecast looks hopeful - fingers duly crossed!
