I have posted this on behalf of Eric Rice.
The June Take Five magazine had a most interesting item by David Maxwell. I note that in the main photograph of his Mk11C, between the front wing strip and the (white) indicator lens there is a ROVER underscored decal.
I have an original brochure (publication 567) on the earlier Mk1 3 litre which has inside the back cover, a retro-stuck label stating in red "SPECIFICATION AMENDMENT - The cars illustrated all carry a "Rover" name-plate in chrome on the side of the front wings. This has now been deleted from the specification".
If they were deleted from the Mk1, I wonder if export cars carried on for a while with these badges. I don't know of any in the UK which sport this adornment (unless you know better!)

This was raised some months ago - RCNA seemed to keep the wing badges

The underscored Rover on the front wing isn't a decal but stainless steel (I'm pretty sure it's stainless steel). They Taylor book says it was standard on cars imported to the US (maybe North America, I'm not sure).

I have a copy of the RMCNA "Easter Egg" brochures for the Mark 2 coupé and sedan which clearly show these logos on the front wings (fenders). I would expect them to be chromed metal, probably Mazak.
The 3 litre Rover works rally cars of 1963 /64 also wore these badges on the front wings.

The Uk ones were Mazak but some very early ones were chromed brass
