Admin,
The home page displays full width on my screen. When I click on a section and that page opens, the page loads then jumps to the top.
However, when I then click on a thread, the page loads, then jumps to the top, then jumps again to a narrow view.
Is this something I can stop in a setting somewhere, or is it just some sort of peculiarity with Pro Boards?

YES YES; I did, I did.
David, The home page is fine. When I click on a sub-board like say P5B General, when that page loads, it loads to full screen width, then after it has finished loading it sometimes suddenly becomes narrow with a couple of inches of empty space down each side of the screen. (only sometimes).
Then when you click on any thread within that section, when that page finishes loading it jumps to the narrow view every time. However, a large photograph will still force it out.
It seems to be determined by the banner photo. It reduces down to the width of that. When it doesn't shrink, it's the banner photo that has the empty space either side of it.

Hmmmmmm In my browser (Firefox 3.6.6) it does not do it, so I viewed it in Explorer Version 8 and again no problems. I have now forced all pages to the left so maybe(?) this has solved it. Right troops, report back when exploratory mission is completed

It has been doing that on my screen, since before the latest changes and is still doing but then I am running a steam !!! computer - Windows 98 SE and Explorer 6 - I am used to it and hope to update my computed to something more social - XP and Explorer 7 soon.
I dont think much of the opening Page - the heading only goes white when you touch it - otherwise the words on the Top Banner are invisable

Hi Warwick, have you refreshed the page(s) to see if it loads the new ones?
Anne, not too sure what you mean but I will adjust the text colour, which is currently a pale burgundy on the home page to a lighter shade. It may be your browser and computer is set to its minimum colours?

Its OK Warwick nothing happened yesterday.
Nothing happened in 1974 and 1978 either.
As Glen would say Out of Africa!
I do believe my page
width is getting
smaller.

Ah, I seem to recall that there was some sort of sporting thing going on? Tour de France perhaps?
David, when I refresh a page, it immediately goes to full width, then springs back to narrow again.
