Hi does any one know where we can get the bearings for the accelerator linkage, have tried emailing wadhams but got no answer from them, or is there away of manufacturing them yourself out of something. Does it affect the kick down on the auto box if you havent got them

Are you looking for the brass one in the manifold or the one on the kick down bracket?

the ones that go in the linkage to hold the accelorater arm, it goes across the bulkhead and i think they are rubber

I posted a similar request last September. In the end I had a friend of mine turn up some bearings from nylon bar. My car is a 3 litre manual with overdrive so I'm not quite sure if the bearings are identical. I may be able to get some made for you if you can't get them anywhere else.
Regards
Roger

They are NLA now - and were also used on a LR - they are the same on manual and ustos and are nylon.
I got 2 from a LR specialist but as in posted Search a few months ago they have all gone now - I had hoped someone on here could turn some up from stock nylon bar as they are nothing special and would I supply a pattern if this would help. Brass would be even better and simpler but some form of locating pin/screw would be required
