I have a replacement Lucas cap and leads to fit to my 1966 Mark 3 but I'm not sure where the number one cylinder needs to be connected to on the cap. I've checked the workshop manual and it doesn't make it clear where the number one cylinder should be connected to on the cap.
My car has had someone fiddling around with it before I bought it and we haven't been able to make it run yet. I'm not sure if the previous person put the leads on the old cap in the right position either.
