Hello, from Adelaide, Australia. Finally, after far too long, I have my P5 3 litre Coupe back, almost fully restored. Complete engine overhaul, including all bearings (camshaft ones too - tell me how hard to find these here!), new pistons, only a very slight rebore, and new paint job. Now I have oil pressure! ;D Am unsure how to"fix" the drivers door latching mechanism. It's a coupe, and the latching shaft (the bit attached to the locking cam assembly which engages into the door pillar part) is quite wobbly in its bearing, with the result the door unlatches sometimes while driving. Anyone else had this issue, and how is it fixed? Will post some pictures soon. Cheers, Geoff.

Surprised no one has responded, Geoff. Not sure if it helps but the hinges were fitted with spacers to ensure a snug fit. Welcome to the forum

Never noticed this post although I seem to recall posting something like this recently - new latch likely but B/c post plate has to be adjusted spot on so try that first
