It seems to work fine to me, But I am not a member so my opinion doesn"t count. I am a member of the Rover Car Club of New Zealand www.rover.org.nz

Allan,
Your opinion does count even if you're not a member (why not?).
I am interested in the views of all who use this system wether members or not, and I have always been keen that the message boards are open to members and non-members alike, although we do wonder if it might be detrimental to membership numbers.

Peter Alan is a member of the New Zealand club and as such is more than welcome to add his comments to this site. Just as we have access to their website. I do agree with you though on the membership state. Hopefully it might encourage the non-members out there to join us. I have just found out one small failing though. A message came up that too many were on the site and to try again after 30 seconds. Sitting looking at a blank screen for that length of time seems like a lifetime.

Checked with the Proboard site. Message reads:
As we pass 650,000 boards...
Dear Valued Members,
Many servers are busy right now. Some of you may be seeing the "Too Many Connections" message. Please just wait it out. If the servers didn't take a break they would crash so it is important that you wait the 30 seconds and then try again. Please don't keep re-clicking this only slows the servers down more.
I realize that for many of you this has been going on for a while. We are doing our best to accomodate all the new members we have signing up everyday. In the near future more servers will be purchased as well as upgrades for some of the older servers.
Please do not make threads here in support about the servers slowing down. If you think there may be a unique problem to your board please use support by all means.
Thank you.
