A fine example! I am intrigued by the twin tailpipes though..... Is there a crossover towards the end of the car or somewhere in the middle or is this a true twin exhaust system and if so was it easy to work aorund the handbrake mechanism and through the chassis member? Also how does it sound and has it resulted in any peformance improvement?

so so brilliant. You did all that bodywork repair yourself? Out of interest, roughly how much to do you think it would cost to repair all the panels like that? My doors, sills, wings are all on the way out. Thanks

sorry, I am not owner of the car, but let me give my opinion what can I say, it greatly depends, from the amount of replacement panels you are using for the job.
More replacement panels, so less the cost of the job, and othervise.
Generally, for moderately rotten panels, its really better to repair them, as replacement panels often fits nonperfectly. But if panel is completely rotten, you dont have the lot of choice.
Generally, full welding of the car like this will take appr. 2 week, or 80 hours of work (with partially use of replacement panels). In the my country its something like 1000 GBP (12 pounds/hour), but in UK you probably should double or even triple this number. Well add materials (primer, hermetic, cutting circles etc), and cost of replacement panels, so probably we are speaking about 4-5 grands...
