The car has now been stripped of all the old paint, and has had 2 coats 2 pack etch primer. It has then been given 4 coats of 2 pack UPOL 2pack filler primer. The roof I have sprayed in 2 pack Silver Birch, and I will leave for a while before polishing .All the doors have been taken off so I can spray the frames and door edges correctly. Now comes the tedious part of spraying a masking coat to show up the blemishes and remove them.I thought I had done this ,but then you see more,I am sure they are catching, like measles. They say the preperation is the most important part,so I must plod on.Here is the link again,I will add more photos over the next couple of days,as work progresses.Len photos.orange.co.uk/album/820433889 photos.orange.co.uk/album/828949243COPY AND PASTE IF THERE IS A PROBLEM

the finish is the preparation, we always had a hard and fast rule with apprentices if you do not do the preparation you will not spray the top coat, always had some lazy so and so who wanted to do the easy part.
