This was taken at our second meet in April, and I've just found time to post it on the site. There would have been nine Rovers there, but two hadn't been finished in time.

Great photo. The magnificent 7. I keep looking out for Ronnie and Reggie Kray I took my car to a local tyre place to check the tracking and the 19 yr old who drove it onto the ramp had never seen one before. It's nice to educate isn't it.

At Luton last Sunday, I had a girl probably at the start of her teens, with her parents and slightly older brother taking a great interest in my Rover. Eventually she came round to where I was and said what a great shame they didn't make cars like mine again, there is nothing more boring than looking at modern cars. That is not the first youngster that has said that, and maybe that experience will set the seed for when she is older to take a more active interest in what's out there in the classic car field.

That is a nice picture. It is good to see so many Rovers at a pub night

You are so right John. I find it very rewarding when people comment on the car but the younger generation are a little bit more special when they recognise talent/something special.
