Why don't people put their location in their profile?

Coming from a person that has "northwest" as their location, that seems ironic....

Nodsmods,
Liking this mod. :)Can you let us know what parts one would need to do this - if i was in Oz i would just get you to do it, but the petrol costs from Dublin in a V8 would make it a bit rich!
Do you have a website for other stuff you have done?

hi boys thought I put that info on first com with club my business is in Bayswater VIC AUST Main thing you need is JAG front end shorten cross member and rack 80mm you can see in pics what I have done so far slow process when I make it up as I go along. Have been doing silly things to cars,utes,4X4,trailers,vans and a few boats over the last 30 years have heaps of pics and talked about website for years but havn't got around to it. You could take frame out and send over but I don't know what sump look's like in your car so there might be sump and oil pickup mods or cross member mods you would have to get done your self and then there's the steering column .I can send you pics of other stuff if you want but its to hard on this site. Will put more picks of rover on tomorrow.

Coming from a person that has "northwest" as their location, that seems ironic.... Going back 20 years or so the regions got names, I was the regional rep for the Northwest. When the forum started I just carried it on. But you are right, perhaps I now with overseas members on the forum I should add "England". But why don't forum members put in the location even if it is only Australia, it's not that big a place. I would not expect them to add NW. ;D

Neal, If you go to your profile page by clicking on your name next to one of your posts ... or clicking this link, roverp5.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=nodsmodsyou'll find "Modify Profile" beside "Member's Bio" in the menu bar across the top. Click on that and then scroll down and you can put in your location ... perhaps your Melway reference

This is very impressing and looks like first class workmanship.
I would have thought that the greatest improvement on handling (if that is the desired goal) would have come from a better fixation of the rear axle. My car has noticeable steering from gas on/gas off, which I have always assumed coming from the rear axle "steering".

Sure seems a strange way to locate an axle with no shackles?

I don't know if it is common or not. There are not many cars to try out here. But the effect is very noticeable, power on, steers right (afaIr) power off, left. The front suspension does not look to me as if that's where the problem originates. The rear axle does. It is not a real problem though, if you know about it, and it is not often you would make such abrupt power changes. But the driving style is a bit different to my more modern cars! But that has it's charme as well!
