Hi Guys, Went to my first (!) show with Babs today. Just three cars there from the club - myself, Steve Vine (thanks for the invite, Steve) and John Andrews. A great day despite the weather. Couple of pics for you. Andy

It was great! Really friendly people - especially on our stand! Lots of jag owners applying silver polish to their engines Chairman's award went to a ... P5B coupe - curses, Babs looked nicer! Shuold have entered her for the judging!!

Well done Andy. I personally have not put a car in for judging. I'd rather read the newpaper and drink a cup of coffee. I may do it some time though in the future.. Go on Glenn live the dream

Nice pics Andy, glad you enjoyed your day. I certainly did with plenty of laughter etc. There was a lot of interest in the cars, and at the end of the day having packed up I was ear-bashed by a guy on the pros and cons of getting one of these cars. Hopefully after I had finished with him he could well be another victim joining our cause. With reference to the 'Chairmans Award' going to a P5B coupe. I'm glad that a P5B coupe won it, however it should never have come anywhere near it. It was all wrong, like having square plastic pop up buttons for the door-locks, and a P4 Viking head mounted on the bonnet, no coach lines anywhere. plus many other weird things. Certainly if Andy had put his up for scrutiny it would have won hands down. That's life though.
