John, I will not be able to make it. But we (P5 Dorset Group) are having an Autumn Gathering on Sunday 30th September at The Gartell Light Railway, Yenston near Templecombe, Somerset.
All are very welcome, no cost to attend.

Sorry John, that's one event I did'nt know about, its not been advertised anywhere here locally. I have no Rovers out at the moment, relying on the Rootes contingent. Maybe next year if we could have advance notice of it perhaps we could organise more P5's to turn up. I doubt if Richard (crossplies) even knew about this either.

I gather you should see some very nice hot-air balloons at Tavistock, as there is a festival there. My wife was bitten at the Melplash Show yesterday and has a swollen and very itchy arm now. That was a lovely day out, no animals, so we were asked at short notice to provide about a dozen Classics. Saved £24 in entrance fee and parked next to the Show arena.

Steve, Yes, sounds like a pleasant day out and just the right distance from Bristol. What time do you intend to arrive. I will try to russle up a few other members from this area if that is alright with you. Regards John Stacey Bristol Rep John Stacey
