The Bristol, Somerset and Wilts Region will be putting a stand on as we have for the past 10 years. The show is the first of the 2008 season and will be held at the Bristol and West Showground near Shepton Mallet. It is a well attended show with an excellent range of cars and auto jumble. It now fills all four show halls with the smell of petrol just about neutralising the country aroma left by previous exhibitors. IT IS ALL UNDER COVER so do not be put off by the last of the winter weather. The show is the perfect opportunity to get in the mood for the 2008 season. Should you be willing and able to commit a little time to either setting up on Friday 15th or manning the stand on Saturday or Sunday day please contact: John Stacey, bertiep5ds@yahoo.co.uk and you may even get a free ticket and privileged parking in the exhibitors car park. With such a tempting offer I fully expect to be totally underwhelmed. See you there www.nationwideexhibitions.co.uk/visitor_detail.asp?eventtype=car&id=72

Hopefully I will be well enough to get there this time. With other commitments and the the fact I forgot to go in the end, I missed the Restoration Show the other week. It wasn't helped by the fact I had frantic phone calls which I missed, as one of my cars was supposed to have been there. I must remember to get my brain in gear for Feb 2008.
