Just acquired this P5B coupé.
Not perfect but a good basis to start from, used to belong to a member of the Rover P5 Club, don't know if they are still a member though.

If you go to the top of the page and to profile you can add your location. It looks good, congratulations on having such good taste Who did it belong to?

Hi,
I would say the same thing as John. From my experience (short I must admit) even it's not perfect ,drive it, enjoy it as much as you can and you'll see what needs to be done. I like the burgundy roof, it's a nice colour scheme and it changes from the burnt grey.

Looks very nice.
As the other have said; drive it and enjoy it, even if is not running 100%. Once the brakes are good and it will start for you, the rest can be sorted along the way.
One bit of advice - unless you know the history of the battery, buy a new one. Otherwise you will find out the hard way that it is past it's best, which is always when you need it most....Then double check that your alternator is charging it using a multi meter. Or better still, bring it somewhere and get them to fit it and test the alternator!
This applies to all cars of course.
Happy Driving

According to the P5 owners club card it belonged to Mr T Mc Keegan the membership number was 244 but this expired (on the card) 30/6/98 Would be great to find out if he is still a member The car drives OK , has just passed the MOT, and apart from balancing the carbs and fitting another rev counter ( this one wildly over reads ) and sorting the kick down out everything works as it should

If you send your name, address & phone details to Geoff Moorshead our membership sec. he will pass them on and it will be up to Mr.Mc Keegan to contact you. We can not give you his details. Or you could ring Geoff with the same info and join the club at the same time. 01784 258166. Don't forget to let us know your location.

Hi Pete would really like to go to the National ( Sept ) with the Rover but have to get a dog sitter, the other alternative is to attend with the dogs in their van, but for me defeats the object. Am trying to get something sorted but if not there is always another time
