HI ALL,as anbody ever changed a gearbox on a p5b what is it like to do and how long will it take me to do any feed back will be a help

not too bad at all, you'll do it in about 6-8 hours, most of it entails stripping out the interior, easier to do if you remove the front seats but not essential. bit longer if you're changing the torque convertor as well.
I done 4 now and can't remember any particularly bad bits, bottom nuts are a bit hard to reach but otherwise ok.
Jack up the back and stick it on axle stands as it makes undoing the propshaft nuts easier rather than pushing the car backwards and forwards to rotate it.
