Sorry chaps, not at all rover related but I thought I would share this you. Had a smashing week in Majorca, very relaxing. Upon our return home we entered the house and we were hit by a terrible stench, and a right mess in the kitchen, I thought we had been done over! Going into the hall there was a dead magpie on the floor!. After going about the house it appeared this magpie had entered the house via the chimney, as no other windows had been left open, well what a mess it left, I cannot believe that one bird can sh#t so much, it was everywhere in every room, plus it knocked over pictures vases and ornaments, smashing them in the process, but he most comical thing of all is this one, and honestly you could not make it up, we left the closet downstairs slightly open as it tends to pong a bit due to a bit of damp. Well in this closet is the main fuse board, and it took a look inside knocking the mop over and Sod's law right onto the main RCD and tripped the power, so all the food in the freezer and fridge was gone!, and the misses had not long done a good shop before we left. Felt a bit sorry for the bird, bad way to go, i had netted the chimney pot a few years ago With stainless mesh, so I don't know what's happened up top, so another job on the list. Good to be home
