Too sunny to work on the engine, we went to an air show today. We saw something that some have seen in 1916. A WWI plane had an engine problem and performed a nice landing in a field beyond the landing zone. No injuries

This plane is a 1923 DH 53 Humming Bird not an easy plane to fly, the pilot who was killed was Old Wardens Chief Pilot. The plane is still waiting to be assessed following this accident.
